Anyone been watching this? I've seen the first episode of the American version and it looks as good as the original.

For those who don't know, Rake is an irreverent Australian comedy about a sharp-witted, ethically vacuous, philandering criminal lawyer - it's an incredibly sharp satire of the chattering-class in Australia. Apparently Netflix will be airing the complete Australian series, well worth catching if you've got an account.

As Fox’s incarnation of Rake continues to struggle in the ratings, the Aussie series on which it’s based is coming to America. Netflix has inked a deal to stream the first two seasons of Rake, which stars Richard Roxburgh as Cleaver Greene, the flawed but netflix_logo2likable defense attorney whose clients range from bigamists to cannibals to serial killers. (Greg Kinnear stars as Keegan Deane on the Yank iteration.) The original series will bow March 1 on the streaming service. Essential Media & Entertainment and Blow By Blow Productions produce the Aussie and American versions of Rake. Season 3, which bowed last week Down Under, will run stateside on DirecTV’s Audience Network starting in April.

Haven't seen the US version but the original is a great show. New season seems to be as good as the first.

BTW, I think the call-girl from the show was in my shop the other day.
