I need an escape,
a ticket out of this screwed-up place,
I feel like a rolling pinball,
except I'm fifty feet tall destroying everything.

rain on sunday morning,
droplets fall side-by-side my tears,
spiraling down,
it's rain and I'm okay,
I stand by the bay, away from fears,
welcome to hallowed ground.

I close my eyes,
and smell the salts of distant tides,
I feel like bleached fishbone,
moonlighting as a paperweight far from home.

rain on sunday morning,
droplets fall side-by-side my tears,
spiraling down,
it's rain and I'm okay,
I stand by the bay, away from fears,
welcome to hallowed ground.

rain on sunday morning,
rain on, rain on, rain on.

rain on sunday morning,
rain on, rain on, rain on.

I can hear this working really well as a song. :)

These lines cut through to me:

I feel like a rolling pinball,
except I'm fifty feet tall destroying everything.

It's a pity we don't get to hear it too! Do you have links to any of your songs by any chance?

I like these lines.

All I have is the instrumentation recorded, guitars, bass drums, etc., no vocals yet. I need to find a strong male vocalist to do the song -- its got a bit of a heavier grunge rock feel to it, like harder Soundgarden.
