Hey there.

I have dexies and I want to use them for focus not recreational. (let's pretend im not a druggie)

I crush 10 mg and snort it up ( i need that kick) and take 5 mg orally to keep me going.

For me this is far more effective with less side effects than orally.

Is this sustainable? I mean railing these low doses daily will it fuck up my nose?

sure, anything will fillers will. Becareful re-dosing stims, you wont get that inital feeling back, just more side effects. As far as snorting first, then orally, thats prolly the most effect way to make it last the longest. ts hard to keep going on stims, the crashing is what led me away from them. If I were to take them it would be as perscribed, if recreational, I would always have a benzo on hand for crash, and wouldent re-dose, and take daily breaks.

Becareful re-dosing stims, you wont get that inital feeling back, just more side effects.

Agreed. Be wary of compulsive redosing to maintain the "high" with the intent of avoiding the crash. If your dopamine is depleted through your initial dose of Dex, then, as DVT said, it will only increase the side effects and make you "tweak" (in a bad way).

It is always best to stick to the oral route if studying is your main concern, that way plasma concentrations stay relatively stable rather than the quick peak and harsh crash of insufflation.

Okay right on. Redose stims is bad yeah. Also fucked me a bit. but what about l-tyrosine after dex? I'm gonna try l-tyrosine to see if it is effective for the crash.

So I took 500 mg niacianimide ( say it can help with energy restore) and 500 mg l-tyrosine.

Nothing replenishes dopamine like taking a break, eating, exercising and sleep.

^ Most definitely, 300-600mg of chelated magnesium and Vitamin B complex (to protect adrenal glands) taken with your amphetamines, along with 0.5-1mg melatonin before sleep to help increase REM and as a very powerful antioxidant, can all drastically cut down on side effects. Take the Mg and melatonin on an empty stomach, they are simply amazing. Vitamin E and 200mg of ibuprofen also help reduce neurotoxicity through antioxidant (E) and anti-inflammatory (ibu) effects, as a lot of amp neurotoxicity is worsened by inflammation.

You are on the right track with niacinimide, iirc it's in my super B complex, and L-tyrosine is a good dopamine precursor, but as with all amino acids, if you regularly eat good meals with 30-40g of protein, and an adequate amount of complex carbs and good fats to be able to absorb all that protein, you won't need to spend too much money on seperate amino acids. Having said that, 100-200mg L-Theanine is great for stimulant comedowns, although that acts more like a drug (distantly similar to pregabalin) than any other amino acid I've come across.

Also, this thread, Amphetamine-Neurotoxicity-and-Tolerance-Reduction-Prevention-II, is a must read for any amphetamine user or abuser.

Thanks man I take all of those. I will not take tyrosnine after amps again.

Made the crash worse. (not i suffer from a lot of anxiety) what ghoes up must come down eh, just need some time

Protein? I just drink loads of milk before sleeping.

The shit feeling is caused by desensitized dopamine d2 receptors and magnesium can acts as an nmda antagonist. Everyone should take magnesium. I also take lecithin , fish oil and couple of other supplements.

IM high and tweaked right now. Not very functional lol. This slowly transforms into ultra focus followed by the crash. This is going to be a long day again. Yesterday I went for a walk helps a lot to put youru mind off and just enjoy the sunshine :)

l-tyrosine is best used on days that you don't use amps i've found. if i take l-tyrosine after or during taking amphetamines i find that i get very cranky and twitchy, a really uncomfortable feeling.

railing dexedrine is also a speedy way to build up a tolerance that you don't want, compared to oral use (i have been using them orally for the past 11 months, no tolerance build up), when i first got the medication i railed it. my tolerance shot through the roof within a week, from 5mg getting me tweaked, then needing around 50-60mg insufflated. i realized it was a complete waste of time, as the binders were also probably fucking my nose, took a 2 week break and used them properly, orally, as prescribed. i suffered horrible crashes and comedowns when i put it up nose too. considering the weight of a 5mg tablet, you have to consider how much is actually hitting your mucus membranes. a tablet weighs probably around 500mg - only 5mg inside it is dexamphetamine. you do the math. you could get lucky and end up with it stuck to your nose, or most of it just dripping down to your stomach anyway.

since then, no tolerance build up at all. 20mg twice daily keeps me focused and alert, and precisely how the medication should act. i don't suffer from comedowns, i just notice my concentration and focus levels returning back to their usual "i like potatoes" state. i do suffer from ADHD though.

i take a ZMA supplement at night, along with omega 3 oils during the day, and this solgar omnium multivitamin tablet every morning. i think this may also help as to why a tolerance hasn't built for me too. i also make sure that i eat properly, and stay hydrated during the day.

edit: thanks ergicmagic for that link. i'll definately give melatonin a shot now - i've not tried it in the past.
