Railing any worse than nasal sprays?

Never been able to find much nfo on the damage to the nasal membrane caused by insufflation (sp?), if anyone happened to have such info, it would be greatly appreciated. Alternatively, an answer to my topic's less complex question would be neat.

What a dumb question. Railing a powder can be anywhere from no harm to tearing up your nose.
There are so many drugs that you can snort.

Whats the difference between railing individual atom (not possibly but bare with me) sized chunks of mdma and railing nails? Isn't a membrane still unnaturally damaged? Logically one could do just as much damage to their nose with an over-the-counter spray as you could with coke? Surely whenever you rail you damage?

I had severe allergies as a kid... so I used nasal sprays several times a day at the reccommended dose for several years and it didn't do anything to my nose. I have read, however, that if you rail substances a lot (EG, a line for breakfast lunch and dinner), then you'd have some problems with the stuff tearing up your nose, and possibly damaging the cartiladge (sp). Everybody has seen those guys with no nose b/c they railed so much shit it collapsed.

You were not very clear with your question, but I will give it a shot ... snorting can cause all sorts of damage as you're introducing (often) harsh chemicals to a sensitive area, and while the noce can take some of this, railing line after line CAN cause serious damage... of course the occasional line on the weekends isn't going to destroy your septum, but it is not the best thing..
