I never tried X, and I've some concerns about the posible cardiovascular distress of this sustance. Sometimes, tachycardia on psychedelics scares me a bit and with mdma I supose that can be more problematic because its "anfetaminic" stimulant properties. Tachycardia on mdma, can be frightening?

Just to clarify are you saying that when you take psychedelics you get a heart rate of over 100 beats per minute?

Depends on what you are doing whilst on drugs as getting your heart to rise over 100 could be achieved by simply dancing hard at a rave. Debatable if its the drug causing this or the excertion.

E will raise your heart rate but not as significant as meth for example.

I cant see how this increased heart rate at this kind of level would be frightening.

If some kind of allergic reaction occured that would of course cause distress but an isolated issue of just a raised heart beat to excertion type levels then not an issue to cause concern.

With E if you are young I would be more concerned about the psychological aspects of the drug. That is more an area for concern.

I'm 27 years old, young but not teen hehe. I don't know how much my heart rate was elevated, i didn't any measuring, but was a bit frightening because I was sit down, relaxed, and is confusing (specially with marijuana, one of the very first times my heart feeled out of my chest, with strong beats). Normally the tachycardia was induced by MJ, but on 2c-b come up too. I don't know how bad the racing heart is on meth, I didn't any major stimulant drug (only coffee, green tea and isotonics).

I actually have the exact same problem. When I do any psychedelics or smoke weed, my heart RACES and I get pretty worried because of it, however when I do Ecstasy it races and I don't mind at all. I think it's my anxiety, and ecstasy sort of gets rid of all of that :P

anyone who has problems with cannabis seems to have anxiety, that applies to myself.

I must say though i cant really 'handle' weed that well, but i can handle mdma and ketamine much better. Stupid aint it lol

Actually not as stupid as you might think, it makes sens because there has been a study that showed MDMA is twice less mentally addictive than weed.

I never even notice my heart on MDMA and even if I did I wouldn't give a shit - it doesn't really cause anxiety - quite the opposite.

Weed however makes me reallllly anxious... I can hear and feel my heart racing and I twitch/shivver alot, its really uncomfortable so I no longer smoke.

I find weed physiologically and psychologically 'harder' than MDMA but you may vary. If i'd tried weed before other drugs it'd probably be the opposite to a 'gateway drug' that it's sometimes claimed to be, its really not for me. So much so that I question whether I want to delve into psychedelics like LSD, shrooms etc whereby I wanted to before.

From my experience, I took MDMA before i ever used Cannabis :

Non cannabis user = no anxiety on comeup, mdma is a blissful experience
Occasional cannabis user = few times a week say = Less anxiety on comeup
Regular cannabis user = Comeup fucking sucks for me anyway, i feel like im dying....

In UK with weed being a class B/C drug that has been a big cause for it to form as a 'gateway' drug

It was certainly the case for me.

Which drug is worse E or weed?

Personally I think both have their negatives.

E is the one that got me but I hear similiar long term issues with weed. Maybe E has the worse potential for brain related issues although cannabis isnt far behind.

Not sure about which is more addictive? I think to answer that question you would have to look at statistics. It probably falls down to a personal thing.

Heroin vs E is an easier answer but..

Which is more addictive E vs Weed. Certainly a good topic for discussion.

Shulgin is like 80 something and still takes MDMA, guess it's not too much pressure on your heart.

His heart is not exactly in great shape. But hell, at 80 who's heart is. Its also important to remember he's fucking a boss at HR, but at the same time has tasted some exotic stuff thats prob alot worse than mdma for the heart and could have contributed to his cardiovascular issues. But i guess that he can take mdma in the state his body is in says something. Really though, no amphetamines are going to be good for your heart.

As far as tachycardia w/ entactogen stimulants like mdma, weed makes it worse, but it does happen w/o it. Just have some benzos/asprin on hand and you can usually handle that shit pretty well. Just having them prevents it to a degree since i know theres really no harm, but if its uncomfortable theres some relief easily available.
