id like to find out what the average level of education is here and who is the most academically qualified among us, do we have any pharmacology degrees or MD's per se? english, physics or philosophy, even

and though i graduated with distinction FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF LIFE.. my formal education ended when i was expelled from school aged sixteen. alas, i have little to contribute to this thread other than, of course, my charismatic personality, natural charm and all-round effervescent wit, so dont be shy.. its finally time to boast about that redbrick social science second you quickly realised was less than useless upon entering the real world

so in actuality and as a combined entity, how highly and widely qualified are we?

gcse : 6 As 3 Bs a levels physics (A) chemistry (B) maths (N)

BSc (Hons) 3rd class combined studies Physics and Philosophy university of liverpool
PGCE university of birmingham

13 years heroin addiction. (dave gahan made it look attractive among other very attractive men)

What were you expelled for, BHM?

I got straight A's at AS and A-Level. Kinda ballsed my GCSE's up due to falling ill a half term before I had to sit them. I'm a 2nd year illustration student. Then I'll be unemployed.

I got mention très bien on my baccalauréat but I can't really be bothered to figure out what that's equivalent to in A-levels.
Currently studying English & Philosophy at King's College London though. Then I'll probably end up a bus driver or something.

Did a Master's in International Relations(but only got enough credits to have a Postgraduate Diploma certificate) and a BA in Development Studies and International Relations, got a 2:1 on the degree.

High school I got 76 on a 100, which isn't that good, but I literally spent five years getting baked in the toilets.

GCSE: 1x A*, 8x A, 1x B
A-level: 0 - (dropped out after 1st year).
BND Art Foundation: Distinction (as a mature student).
BSc Computer Games Technology: 1st Class (Hons) (as a mature student).

MSc and PHD will come when I'm tired by the pace of working in the games industry and go back to university as a lecturer.

so it seems i am indeed now bottom of the eadd pack in terms other than common decency, anyhow

albion - it wasnt that spectacular, more a case of straw breaking the camel's back. i accrued twelve suspensions from things ranging between playing up the teachers, fighting to contraband. became the test subject for the new (at the time) inclusion punishment, that is being seperated off in a room for all lessons, all day for two weeks, which i hated. they even asked me which teacher i would like in there with me.. poor guy. i was soon joined by a few of the other of the worst kids in school

in my final year i was pretty much taking the piss, seeing how far i could push things. was given carte blanche to walk out of lessons if i felt confrontation brewing. but if you want the actual offence that did it, i spraypainted my name on the school infront of staff.. funnily enough i got caught

lasted so long because they assumed id ace my gcse's thus reflecting well on the school.. lol i sure showed them

serotonin system, thats very impressive. but didnt you say you knew me..? i can assure you there is nobody in my social circle (save the mrs) who knows my past that even comes close to such qualifications as your own. unless that is, we first met on a chemist carpark a couple years back.. in which case, you knew me for the grand total of two weeks and thus know the sum total of the square of fuck all

As well as GCSE's (I got 8 above c including 4 A's) I have an HND(obviously meaning the FD and ND too) in equine science, and an NVQ in pshycology. My CV is an absolute mess, in fact I have 3, each one concentrating on different areas - one indeed being the university of life, which I had more fun gaining than the others. Except the horses maybe. That was fun.
Oh I also have various qualifications to do with the BIIAB. I have my on license alcohol license. See - messy.

my gcse results [ apart from my b in english lit, cs in science and english language ] spelled f.u.d.g.e....

my school was a fucking horrible place, i accept that my failures were my own doing but they did fail me in some ways [ bullying just doesnt happen in grammar schools apparently ]

i do have a NVQ in art and design, amazing really as i can only draw fish and a GNVQ II in my chosen trade.

education isnt for everyone IMO, i got a job early on and was financially independant well before my 'peers'.
I'm actually proud of my CV, i've never had any trouble finding work that i enjoy.
All the people i know with degrees are either unemployed, unemployed and overrun with horrible children or emptying wheelie bins for a living

Scottish Highers: ABBBC (the A was for French, that's the pinnacle of my educational achievment).

Certificate of Higher Education (dropped out of Uni after 2nd year)

I've done a few Open Uni modules.

That's it.
