you passed away last night,
alone in a hospital with the one you love,
but where was your family?
evasdropping on conversations i heard you were bad,
you have not lived up to your families expectations,
yet i loved you
you welcomed us to your home
some years ago,
i loved playing in your garden
you helped me catch all those tadpoles.
you may have failed in there eyes, but you were an uncle i've always loved and asked about,
so as you lay there tonight i hope you know,
that your smile your friendliness and your wonderful soul
will always be in my heart.
we're so much alike, yet we never knew.
i love you.
