It was not a heroin overdose. This is the reply from his sister...

Since he was on probation, he had to take frequent blood and urine tests. It looks like he took a few pills that didn't mix well together. They were prescription drugs, and it was pretty clear it was an accident. He was probably trying to relax for finals and mixed the wrong substances.

he was the first bluelighter that I could remember simply because of the beautiful name. Life is so precious and death is so unknown. Im saddened for his family and friends that knew him well. It looks like he was just a really sweet guy, from the looks of his photos we led similar lives from batman to swim team. Life is precious. My love goes out you DevineMomenT

Wow, I didn't even know the guy, but after reading the trip report, and knowing that he is no longer here either, it actually made me tear up
