It's mostly teenagers.

35% of reddit users are <18 years old. I think that subreddit is probably 80% <18.

It's mostly people who don't do any research asking stupid questions. I got banned for calling someone stupid. Is bluelight the only good forum for drug users?
Pretty much all you will get on reddit will be teenage anecdotal nonsense, its a waste of time and you will not learn anything beyond how stupid kids are these days.

i don't really like the reddit lsd section... too much people claiming lsd definitely has tolerance issues beyond a week and that's a definitive fact. i always link to this site https://www.infiniterecovery.com/substance-abuse/lsd-tolerance/ which claims it has a 3-4 day time period before your tolerance is reset... that's definitely what i found, what my crowd of people that i'm friends with said too, and i've heard it from different people over the net.. i was talking about this before and some one else on this site was saying that tolerance is pretty much resest in 3-4 days, but there are tons of people saying my info is no good on reddit... they are setting people up for failure, because some people's tolerance to lsd goes down dramatically quicker than others. there is one site that is a supposed lsd calculator they link to. i'm not into it.

i mostly use reddit cause people post good art and i like to see music people listen to and i like to recommend music... it's not all bad. sometimes there's random stuff that pops up that is good info too... reddit drugs has a lot of people that just do stupid gross highs imo, or it's just random non descriptive stuff like "i took a bunch of lsd, wish me luck!"... too much recommending OTC drugs to kids too.

Reddit is full of ultra-sensitive easily triggered users...just forget it if you want any serious discussion that might involve some harsh language. I know of people who got banned from there entirely because they got into a heated argument. The admins ended up booting their account.

Real Post. r/drugs is a CESSPOOL of teenagers who DESPERATELY need IRL help/intervention, NOT more drugs. Very "confined" Echo chamber of a subreddit also... also! God FORBID! you have SOME form of psychosis in any fucking capacity and you say you Smoke weed or Do lsd on that fuckass subreddit while saying you have a psychotic disorder; Fucking cunts who have never had a depressive episode even, or anxiety, or what-have-you, coming out of the fucking woodworks to state they know YOU, YOURSELF, Better than YOU do, and to NEVER even LOOK at a crumb of weed ahain, Lest you... BECOME A SCARY SCHIZO!!! AHHH!!!! THE WORSE!!!

all jokes aside..

Also found its very... Coughs. Hate to be that guy, but I have faced plenty of discrimination on r/drugs also. Fucking teens who go on 4chan and whatnot go on there and are extremely... Uh. "Bigoted" to say the least also.

I prefer to just ... go on the compound/class of drug subreddits themselves for info. r/dissociatives , r/researchchemicals (STILL sucks dick but yknow.). etc etc. Yerp.

Yes BL is so full of experts, very well informed veterans, scientists and doctors.

Reddit is a cesspool
Of misinformation on drugs.

It’s the type of place where everyone beleieves BS like:

“dmt is released from your brain when you die”

“The brown specs in X pills are heroin”

"Methadone stays in your bones forever”

“Weed is good for you”

Reddit drug forums are in really bad shape and full of morons

I can't even open reddit links anymore without being directed to the app or something, mature content my ass. If you click "stop loading page" really fast, you can sometimes still see the thread. Brave blocks everything on reddit, probably need to fix some settings in the adblocker, it's just blank, like my mind on reddit.
"when i was a kid we used to actually get out there and google stuff"
remember going to page 99? those were the days

This happens for a lot of things. Take Facebook, which is something smaller and bugger companies use a lot. If you don't have an account, you can't access the content. Apparently that's for privacy, or to "protect", but I don't believe that.
I think what they really want is to make people open accounts with them (Facebook wants a video of you) and by this get some data.

It could have been successful platform, maybe it even was at some point, but it is trashed, ruined and fucked up by the new owners. That applies to every sub. Reddit is enshittificated. I am very skeptical it could ever rise again to level where it was before. It sucks so fucking hard that it is of better use as a hoover than harm reduction site.

I can accept the principal deficit is referring to, but I would absolutely love it if we could somehow perceive it technically more as a crippled nonsense gibbering shadow of its former self, rather than harm reduction place at this point.

This shit talk is like sort of therapy drug addict gets of bashing their DOC. I have not really browsed it for few days, but I will get back to it gain brain trauma some day again.

Can confirm . Obscuredrugs is a REALLY good subreddit also.
Reddit definitely has some good, niche drug related subreddits.

Check out r/bizzybees for a cute little resurrection of The Hive forum. (I'm honestly surprised reddit has not banned it yet).

I can't even stand r/alcoholism. It's mostly people who have mental/life issues and think they're an alcoholic because they drink a 6 pack of wine coolers.

No joke, I see posts there all the time that are literally, "I'm 15 years old, I drank half a bottle of vodka and woke up and I have a headache and feel nauseous, should I go to the hospital?"
