Does anyone here have experience with successfully kicking Tapentadol after long term daily use??

How many mg were you taking daily? I’ve tried to lower my dose from 400mg a day to 200mg with the intention of quitting.

Last year I was taking around 2000mg of tapentadol a day, could hardly sleep, was twitchy af, and had scratched myself stupid.
I found alcoholic ginger beer got me through the withdrawal (around 6 a day) for three weeks. It also helped to regain much of the weight I'd lost.

I hadn’t heard about this method, what does the ginger do?

The ginger is consequential, it was sweet and easy to drink, not overly alcoholic but enough to numb. I might be testing that method again soon as I'm currently taking about 1000mg a day, 2grms of carasiprodol and 200mg of tafentadol. I wake every few days with the Jones something terrible but can't tell what's causing it. I think it's the tafentadol as that's a new addition. (Might have spelling wrong, will check)

Should this still be needed, I have a many years experience and medical research on Tapentadol and Oxycodone with a elderly parent/patient, and on going, as well as others. If you wish to reply to me here or PM/DM me i am more than happy to help you with kicking it and all the needed/wanted info. Long term repeated use also drops far faster with recreational effects for most who use it, it is even sometimes prescribed in lew of other pain medication when one is known to abuse something stronger than or equal to morphine, and sometime like codeine/tramadol is not sufficient.
