Stimulants Quitting regular speed without withdrawal?

This is very odd... Last time I went on 0,2g a day, every day for 2 months. I quit cold turkey and had the worst 5 days in my life followed by a week of apathy and tiredness. I couldn't function on my job like that so I took it up again.

Now I've been doing 0,1g - 0,3g every other day for a few months with a big intake of Magnesium Citrate daily. I barely notice the speed though... I don't fall asleep standing and I don't hate my work but that's that.. I yawn constantly, eat more than ever and have a solid sleeping pattern. Due to some extreme problems in real life I have had to use Sobril (Oxazepam) 5mg-15mg when going to sleep because of huge anxiety.

However, I have now been working and going on with my life for soon two weeks without using any speed at all... I've always had it with me in my bag but I just never felt like I had/wanted to use any...

I've not had a comedown or any withdrawal whatsoever... I've not been sleeping more, I've not had mood swings et cetera. I haven't used benso either...

Weirdly enough, I've been laughing alot and enjoying good jokes, something I haven't been able to do for YEARS (long before I started using speed)...

So I wonder... How come... Is the Magnesium Citrate really helping this much? o_O

I thought that it would take weeks for even the slightest of dopamine to build up again and MONTHS to be able to "enjoy" things... Also, I am on SSRI which makes me even more curious as to how I can enjoy stuff since they basically shut me down emotionally since I started with them years back...

Optimally I would like this to continue and keep speed use to maybe once a month to get that "creativity" boost that made me write amazing songs and melodies...

What's up? o_O

^^This exactly. Unless you count being tired, hungry, and sleeping a shit load withdrawal (which I actually love). Opiates, benzos, alcohol, now that's real withdrawal.

My mother has been a speed addict for over 15 years so I know first hand, for a fact that there is indeed withdrawal... Mainly from the repeated suicide attempts made by her days after she 'quit'... Depleted dopamine reserves account for that I reckon...

My neighbour, just now, got home from 12 days at some health care facility after he IV'ed 10g over the course of 2 days. He said those days werw the worst in his entire life and swore he'd remain clean.. (We'll see how that pans out..)

There isn't withdrawal in the sense of withdrawal from something like a benzo or opiate. Quitting amphetamines just leaves you feeling tired, listless, and completely and UTTERYLY useless at work. I know the feeling.

I didn't take my Vyvanse this morning and actually feel better than I have in a while. Weird, I expected to feel like shit esp. since I partied hard and didn't sleep much last night. So for me I would say no w\d but I take a low dose. Maybe I'm manic right now who knows? But yah the w\d is the easuiest in my opinion as long as you werent a heavy meth user or something.

^^Haha, yeah i'm prescribed as well, up to 140 mg a day if I choose. I take it probably once every three days overall, feel absolutely fine the days I don't take it, except I spend a little too much time fucking around on the internet, watching t.v., and eating waaayy to much lol.
