quitting opiates is fucking my sex life up

Ugh I hate this, was on heavy shooting heroin and about 200mg oxy every day. Been on subs for a year now and I can still cum in under a minute sometimes, I get hard just by walking and my dick hitting my boxers. Before opiates and while addicted I was a sex-marathon type guy. Can't even imagine what'll happen after I kick subs, be walking around with pants full of loads...

Honestly, for me, I'd say it has to do with a lack of wanting to have sex or even masturbating. I never masturbate anymore, so the less you use it, the more it's going to be easier to ejaculate (if you're a male). I'd say masturbate a ton and that should decrease hyper-sensitivity and promote longevity. Just my opinion.
 
The hyper-sensitvity doesn't last forever.. Unfortunately the best way to get back to normal is to just start having sex and get used to the intense feelings again..

If you're worried about not lasting long enough or wanting to give the girl you're with pleasure, try jacking off an hour or so before you're going to have sex (that is if you know you are of course).

And, girls won't care as much if you cum too early as long as you go down on them to finish them off.. By then, you'll be ready to go again!
 
unfortunatley busting too quickly is a common side effect of quitting opiates. theres been times where ive literally gotten addicted to opiates just so i could perform better in bed. pathetic i know. just give it time, and theres techniques u can practice

a big one is to relax your butt muscles and legs while having sex. next time u jerk off try it it really fuckin works. also having the girl on top helps me last longer for some reason

Look into tantric techniques to last longer - there are A LOT.

My top faves are - when you feel the urge to cum, pull out, breathe out hard and suck in your stomach muscles, rubbing on the perineum (the first few times you do this you will lose your erection), creating a circle with thumb and forefinger around your nuts, and pulling firmly, aaaaaaaaaaaand PC exercises.

Edging works really well, so you can keep the number of times you masturbated down to a minimum, which is ideal for your state of being right now - cumming everyday will not rejuvenate you in the slightest, it will drain you of so much energy, and drive.

I agree 100%, it def took a while to figure that out and it's still kind of hard to control in my opinion. but that felt like the main reason why it would happen to me is that those muscles/I as a whole was too tense.
 
I've gone thru this same experience myself, me and my current girlfriend started dating when I was ~3 months off H and I'd bust in a second or 5.

I got on Paxil and found that the delayed orgasm was a pain in the ass and that's when I could actually get it up!

So I started practicing, jerk twice a day while focusing on controlled breathing and relaxing muscles. It took time but definitely helped.

I don't recommend this but DXM is also a skeletal muscle relaxant, I used to take ~50mg before sex to delay orgasm.

Finally, when all else fails I just do some math in my head while going at it to distract myself. Nothing like fucking while integrating!
