I know it sounds insanely stupid, and yes ive SOMEWHAT asked this question before but this is an entirely different situation / plan.

I was quitting hydros, actually flushed a 120 ct bottle down the toilet and was on day 3, wd were pretty bad but whatever I didnt think I had anything I had to accomplish.

Got a text from a class mate that we needed to work on project and instantly it was like WD were 100X worse, in my mind I contemplated just blowing off the project which was worth quit a large portion of my grade.

Finally I said enough is enough and took 3.5mg of methadone as after flushing my goodies its all I had access too.

I am still committed to quitting but will this completly reset my withdrawl from hydros? OR will it helpme through 24 hours and help me somewhat skip a hellish day as long as I dont take anymore and deal with the continued wd after the 24 hour methadone half life

Thanks,

I have no idea as I have no experience with 'the done as you put it, but my common sense mechanisms tells me that methadone in any dose may be overkill for hydrocortisone withdrawals

.... Also if you actually flushed a bottle of hydro down the toilet and wasted them when you could've just as easily sent them to me, then you WILL be skinned alive slowly for 12 straight hours until there is nothing left of your epidermis but bloody flakes, please provide me your address and daytime and nightime hours so that I may accomplish this sooner than later
thanks.

Hydrocodone bro ;) OP you would have been much more comfortable tapering with that 120 count bottle :(, but not everyone has the self control, time, or patience I guess, good show of self control though, not a lot of addicts have the willpower to throw away a bottle of their drug of choice <3.

Or the penchant for Lunacy to do such a thing clearly knowing that you could've sent it to me and now will have to suffer the pain of slow torturous punishment of death at my hands for not bowing to the commands I hath given ye...

Methadone has a really long half life and you didn't do very much of it so you are through the worst of it. Try to get some xanax or something to sleep through as much of it as possible and stay busy when your awake. At the level of addiction it's largely mental (which doesn't mean it isn't real). Hang iin there and don't do any more pills, you'll be fine in a few days. You've got that monkey almost completly off your back, don't let him back on now. Three days in was as bad as it gets, it's all downhill from here. If you have any questions or just need some support PM me, I'll be glad to give any advise or support I can. I'm sure most of the regular posters would too.

Shit, greenlighters can't PM

Dunno if this is allowed, mods take it down if not but [email protected]

That is a pretty low dose of methadone, if you use it for a couple days to avoid the hydro withdrawals and then jump off you will probably still have some minor withdrawals, but should be bearable.

That is a very low dose of Methadone but it should get you by for 12 hours. Due to its half-life it lasts longer but the dose you took was small. It would be good if you had a long acting benzodiazepine like Klonopin to help you out. Just as-needed. If you were to take another dose of Hydrocodone, no you wouldn't be thrown back into full withdrawals unless you've been taking them for a long time (like years) then you may experience some mild withdrawals.
