long time viewer here but just signed up. Not to bore everyone with my story but I'm 22 and have been using/abusing cocaine/pks/alcohol for the past 3 years. I haven't touched blow since before thanksgiving. But I have continued with pks primarly oxy. I usually drink upwards of 70+ units of alcohol every week. I've decided enough is enough I'm done I'm quitting the alcohol for at least 30 days.

Hey that's good Mallard, drinking was hardest for me. The recovery forums here are awesome and you'll find lots of support.
Happy New Year and welcome to Bluelight! :)

Congratulations on your decision! Everyone has to start somewhere, and maybe after the 30 days is up and you have been clean you will be able to keep up the trend. You will feel so much more happy and healthy once you're sober, trust me. You'll find tons of people across the boards here who have quit alcohol and drugs and have managed to stay clean despite their struggles.

PS -- I'm also going to move this over to the forum "Sober Living", and I changed the title of your thread to something a bit more descriptive. Welcome to Bluelight :)
