quite a few questions from a new guy

I have a regular doctor that ive been seeing for 4 years which I go to & have a trusted relationship with & he does everything possible to help with my pain as he much as he possibly can.........now I dont go in & ask for oxymorphone or anything of that sort. We take baby steps in the pain med department & now that hydrocodone is helping & has helped me for the past 3 years, there is no need to go to anything stronger.

It seems you are stuck with the VA doctors that dont give 2 shits about your pain.........go seek out a pain management doctor that will look at your MRI & Xrays & treat you properly. You also have to speak to him/her & tell that exactly what your pain is & how bad it is. Also tell them that pain meds you were on with the VA doctor & tell them that they dont help with the pain much. Be honest with the doctor.

Someone above stated you have gone to 47 doctors? If this is true(I havent read through the entire thread so I dont know) the doctors can find out if youve been to different doctors & may be thinking you are drug seeking. If it isnt true about the 47 doctors, then disregard my last statement.

YEah i found some pain medicine doctors in my area. I am going to call them in the AM, and have printed all my health records from online to bring to him with proof of all the stuff he will need, also bringing him all my prescriptions as well. Its true with the VA doctors, thats including Specialty clinics, X rays, MRI's, it was exactly 13 doctors ( was being phescious) in the past 9 months to be exact. The thing is with the VA they channle you to other doctors for stupid things, for IE I had to see an ORTHO doctor to get an mri and xray of my back and legs. Then a shrink for my PTSd. I never actually ask them for any medicine TBH, I just give what they offer me.

yeah i called about 20 places this morning, no one wants to take a person with 0 insurance, the thing is, they wont give out medication WITHOUT having health insurance

wantyed to give a heads up, I have recently been prescribed Oxy with Flex and or Baclofen, which one would you say is a better mixture?

Yes you can form a tolerance to carisprodol and they do have wd symptoms, although I found them to be tolerable. Just high anxiety an uncontrollable shaking for a couple of hours, give or take. I take 325, 3 x pr day
Sorry I'm new. This may not be in the right place.
