I always think way into things and I was wondering... can someone be allergic to vicodins or percs?? Is there anything in them that can harm someone under the age of 18 (just like aspirin can cause rye syndrome) ??

You can itch alot, which may seem like an allergy.
If there is tylenol (acetominophen) in the pills, taking alot can permanentl damage your liver too. The ones with Ibuprofin probably arent to good for your stomache either, especialy if you have a bad one

Opioids are not especially bad for kids... just take care not to do too much.
You can take up to 8-10grams of tylenol at once without any danger, or 4-6grams daily. So unless you have a large opioid tolerance, or are popping dozens of Tylenol 2's or something, do not worry about the acetaminophen/ibuprofen in the pills.

As far as I know, the effects of acetominophen on the liver are cumulative... personally, I stay away from any and all tylenol products... especially since the effects are synergistic with alcohol and I like to drink (heavily). If you're doing pills, use the coldwater extraction... 4-6 grams a day will really add up over time if you have a pill habit.

One of my teachers had a hyperactive thyroid and had a severe reaction to vicodin. He was in a hospital bed talking to his dad, the problem being his dad commited suicide ten years ago.

Heaven forbid we risk our livers to a small dose of acetaminophen to cure aches and pains when we can drink lots of alcohol instead!
That's like being a vegan cigarette smoker.
