Opioids Quick question regarding Tramadol.

Say somebody were to get hold of Tramadol HCL powder without binders/fillers. Is this powder suitable for IM/IV administration? IIRC, Tramadol must be demethylated in the liver before it has activity. Would direct administration result in the same metabolic process?

Bumping an old thread I know, but I have sourced some HCL powder and am curious about this too...

What else is in the HCL ampoules (as in what makes it aqueous), is it just distilled water or saline mixed with Tramadol HCL..?
