Quick question regarding dosage and tolerance (adderall)

I did a quick search on adderall, but since I have a major test to study for (whence the adderall) I don't have the time to search through all the threads.
My question: Would 20 mg 2 times a week probably cause me to build up a tolerance? I know this is a matter of who I am, but some educated guesses would be appreciated. I am also willing to taper down to 10 mg two times a week as long as I can get similar, albeit weaker, effects. I'd even be willing to cut down to once a weak at 20 mg. Basically, I'm asking for advice on what you think the best dosage would be to NOT build a tolerance over the months/years.
I greatly appreciate your help, and I will be taking the adderall only during the school year.

Even if you use an amphetamine sporadically, you will inevitably build up a tolerance over time. Amphetamines are a real bitch like that.
I'd suggest once a week, at the lowest effective dose, to control tolerance -- but you will still develop some tolerance, unavoidably.

Well, that sucks. Thanks for the info, I'll try 10 mg next time, and attempt to take them as often as possible.
Again, appreciate the help. Hopefully the tolerance will be held in check till I get out of college. :)
Edit: AAHH! The Adderall's reprogramming me! I meant to say I'll attempt to take them as *little* as possible.

how long does it take the tolerance to go down a little...
i take ritalin 3x 20mg daily and its still pretty nice but back in the day id rail 10mg and be soooo euphoric..and then when i railed my first 20mg...damn i was blown away
someone needs to make a pill that gets RID of tolerance...but then what if u get tolerance to the anti tolerance pill...woah.>
well time to rail some vitamin R
peace

Some bluelighters were talking about how a certain type of alzheimer's drug might help you get rid of the tolerance... but that shit isn't proven and the chemical itself isn't out in the States yet.
But, man, I don't rail and this shit is still fantastic for me. Railing must be so much better though!
