Quick question on LSD vs. Psilocybin intensity.

So I tripped on an 1/8th of what I believe were P. Cubensis about 6 weeks ago, and on 1 hit of acid last Saturday. My mushroom trip was a lot more intense than my LSD trip, and I was wondering, around how many mcg of LSD would be equivalent to that 3.5g of P. Cubensis, intensity wise? An answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
 
more often than not an 1/8 of mushrooms will be stronger than 1 hit of LSD.

Id say 3-5 hits would feel like an 1/8 depending on how strong the hits are. But acid tabs vary in potency so thats really hard to say.

Qualitatively the trips are different though. LSD, in my experience, is alot easier to handle even during a strong trip than mushrooms. Mushrooms tend to have alot more head fuck, anxiety and just over all seem darker to me than the Jovial LSD.
 
Definitely. My mushroom trip was a lot more intense, and my visuals were a lot more "morphy" (face morphed all around in the mirror, etc.), while my LSD visuals were all patterns for the most part. Shrooms were quite the mindfuck, definitely had emotional breakthroughs. If I could handle 1/8 of mushrooms, would the difference between 1 and 2 hits of the same batch of acid make a big difference? 1 wasn't too intense, so I'm considering trying 1.5 or 2 this weekend.
 
a mcg number would be completely useless to you, as 99.9% of people have no idea the actual mcg on their blotter hits.

if you have the same batch of acid, perhaps 3 hits? you don't really give us much information...

have you taken shrooms or acid more than once? a full 3.5g of cubensis is on the moderately high side of things, as 5g enters 'heroic' territory for most people.
 
IME 2g of mushrooms is similar in intensity to 2 hits of acid.

the differnce btwn 1 and 2 hirs is not that much.

taking twice as much acid wont make the trip twice as strong. Acid doesnt have a steep dose response curve.
3 hits is about twice as strong as 1 in my experience with the average potency tab.

your milage may vary
 
ime 1.5g of shrooms is about equal to 0.5 hits of acid. it varies a lot depending on the quality of the shrooms and the acid.
 
if you could handle an eighth of mushies (so long as they werent shit) you could handle 3 hits easy. Shrooms are much more uncomfortable for most people then acid
 
i am afraid everyone is pretty well in the dark when it comes to exact microgram dosage of LSD - most acid is around 75ug, but that is just blotter and there are even double dipped blotters.. microdots are pretty strong as are gels - maybe like 2 average blotters..
so - for me i think 2 - 3 blotters would equal 1.8th of shrooms.. but, 2 purple microdots or gel tabs is stronger than 1/8th in my opinion..

nope, its nonsense.

Acid is laid on a sheet once at whatever dosage the person laying chooses to lay it to.
Double dipped is BS a dealer says when trying to make his product look good. Same thing with double stacked pills.

as for microdots and gells being stronger than blotter. Also nonsense. Liquid, blotter, dots, or gellies can be made in a wide range of doses.
 
hmm, visually I'd say I've had a two hit acid trip that has blown away even my 4 gram gold cap trip. That's the best acid I've ever had though. On no other occasion has the LSD been that worthy of an opponent. It usually leaves me saying "I wish I dosed more" (but that's the market not the drug itself).
 
I mostly get actual tested LSD and I would say (although with a history of tripping on both i.e. psychological tolerance) that about 200 ug or more of LSD would generally equal a proper 1/8 of Cubensis.
But I consider mushrooms to be stronger and much more direct, so they feel more intense (despite the somewhat more common idea of the ignorant public that acid is > crazy), plus I could be somewhat insensitive to PEA's, also when comparing them to tryptamines.
