Whats up everyone. I am new to Bluelight, obviously. So yeah, let me get started. I was wondering if you can effectively smoke hard (crack) using the light bulb "vaporizer" method commonly used for bud. I don't really see why it wouldn't work but figured I would ask for other opinions/hopefully first hand experience. I have smoked out of a pipe before. Using copper wiring throughout the pipe as a screen/blocker. Though I do NOT have access to any of those things as of now so I am curious to see if anyone on here has successfully smoked using that method. I just want to know if it works and if so, is it just as good/better than smoking out of a regular metal/copper pipe? Thank you.

We all know its you talking. Using another other form of talking other than first person "I", is against the BLUA. It does not help protect you, please edit your post, its annoying to read.
 
Light bulbs can contain all sorts of nasty carcinogens so I would strongly suggest not smoking out of one. Don't use any terms like FOAF or SWIM, everyone knows that it is you, not to mention that it is against the BLUA.

I have smoked marijuana and hash out of a light bulb vaporizer before knowing the dangers, and every time I ended up breaking the light bulb after putting it on a surface that wasn't hot. I can imagine smoking crack would possibly make the light bulb break or increase the problem of breaking the light bulb, not to mention how hot the light bulb would become.

Just go buy a glass pipe/rose stem instead of burning yourself with the light bulb or loosing your crack after the light bulb breaks into a million pieces.
 
Thanks for your answer man. I edited the FOAF thing lol. I don't know anywhere to get them though. I though they stopped selling them. Though I am sure some corner bodega in the city still does. I'm east coast so maybe its different where you live? Idk.
 
I live on the east coast as well and they have stopped selling them in a lot of places. I am sure you can find something better to smoke out of than a light bulb though, I would rather not smoke at all if that was my only option.
 
Idk, but light bulb glass is incredibly thin and brittle, and I imagine it would take a water cooled diamond tipped saw or drill bit to cut one w/o breaking it into a bunch of little pieces. Much more common crack pipe is a radio antennae or one of those 'small glass vases' that roses come in from a convenience store, packed with Chore Boy, which is like a wound heavy steel scrubbing pad.

even if a light bulb worked I can see you burning the shit out of your lips due to rapid heat transfer thru the thin glass. You do know that the soldered base of an average incandescent bulb is filled with nasty shit like lead, right?
 
Yeah I know there is this store near me that sells copper screens/other obscure drug related items so maybe he stocked up on roses for mothers day? haha, hopefully. Thanks for your help.
