Opioids Quick question, I wanna kill a rumor

I've read of and heard of the rumor that the OP Oxycontin's are so inefficient by design that they actually have twice the actual mg in each pill to compensate for the pills 50% efficiency. Any truth to this?

Around here people seem to think so and right here in this very forum I have heard of other people speaking of the double mg and I have not seen anyone try to prove otherwise so while I find it highly unlikely I still feel like I gotta know for sure. Especially since sometimes I swear I get a better buzz off of these than a roxy or OC equivalent but it's for sure not everytime...
 
I can't say I've ever seen anything conclusively disputing this. However I've never heard of this 'rumour' before and from an economical, medical and legal point of view (never mind basic commonsense) I can't see this being remotely feasible. Why would a company....sigh nvm
 
it would be illegal for them to put double the dose and only say its half the strength. it sounds like either:

a. something some dealer would make up to tell people so they can still charge out the ass for oxy. OPs are going dirt cheap around here and most dealers wont even bother with them. opiates are getting scarce around my area because of OPs being worthless and all the people with actual OC being greedy.

b. something a junkie would say to assure themselves and others theyre still getting just as fucked up. i have a friend who is SURE the new roxi 224s have more drug in them because there is more powder than others. hell sometimes i think watson blue 10s are stronger than norcos. i guess its just how addicts think sometimes haha.

however i am 100% sure this OP rumor is just that. a rumor. im only sure because of the legal problems that could arise. one overdose and the company would be FUCKED outta millions.
 
i vote rumor also.

and speaking of things like this, when i first started using OC's back in the day, when I would get an ABG instead of OC i would get excited because despite them being the exact same thing.. i thought they were slightly stronger :| lol.
