How much adderall would someone take on their first time? Worried for a friend, she's planning to take 20mgs and weighs 120 lbs. Will that be ok?

Tell her to start with half of that. 10 milligrams is more than enough for a first timer.

It depends on the type of adderall. Do you know if they are extended release (capsule) or instant release (tablet) ? Either way, she will be okay. I took 60mg my first time but I wouldn't recommend that.

I would agree with the posts above.. some people are really sensitive to adderall.. It seams easier to take more if the desired affect is not achieve than to take less if you find that you don't like..

everyone is different, my first time ever trying stimulant based medication, was by a doctor,. I was given Ritalin 20mg SR, and it made me euphoric and it def made me feel like I was on a recreational dose, that's how my addiction started. while I met other people who can take a 30mg of Adderall and never have touched amphetamines and get no effect..body weight plays no role in dose, its all your brain chemistry
