Queston about Adderall

Hi there!

Sorry, I'm new, so if this is in the wrong place, don't kill me.

I've been wanting to try Adderall (I don't have ADD), because I hear it can cause a nice euphoria. I have five 20mg IR tabs. And some Xanax because I hear it pairs well.

My question is...I have a tolerance to oxycodone/hydrocodone. It takes about 80-90mg of oxycodone to really get me to feel any of the euphoria anymore.

I don't think the tolerance for an opiate matters when it comes to the tolerance of an amphetamine, but I'm not sure.

Thanks!

Opiate drugs are not cross-tolerant with amphetamines.

A 20mg IR tab should be enough for your first time.

Basic dosing questions belong in Basic Drug Discussion, no worries, I'll move this thread there for ya :)

Thanks for the info guys!

Should I take 40 for my first time? I just took one, starting to feel it.
Wondering if 40 will make the experience better? What side effects can I expect?

My heart is fine, but the rapid beating always freaks me out. :)

So...40 or no? I have 4 20mg IR tabs left.

Should I even bother taking the xanax in a bit? Like will I be OK if I don't?

Much appreciated :)

No. Like the above said-20 is enough. 40 is too much for the FIRST time. If ANYTHING, breJ off a small chunk (1/4?) and take it. *assuming it's been a good hour and you're sure 20 isn't cutting it.

I'm new to amphetamines. How do I know if I feel like I need it?

This feels nice. Almost like the first time I did E. Lol wow...never thought I'd be on a forum talking about this.

And I know I sound like such a noob...but how long can I expect this to last?

Then stop at that dose. You'd be saying completely opposite things if you 'needed' more. Save the rest. Better to keep tolerance low... and slow. ;)

^Yep.

Since its IR, it should last anywhere from 3-5 hours, with an hour or two of after-effects and comedown. However, that's just a range. If you took the tablet on an empty stomach, the comedown will be much harsher and more pronounced and the whole experience will be shorter.

My 2nd time taking adderall, I was pulled over and had to eat 60mg of adderall before Officer-Friendly got to my car.

After that, I've never been able to execute and experience amphetamine euphoria at that level from addy again. Definitely up your adderall dose as SLOWLY as you can. Put your willpower to the test.

not sure if i'll ever be able to get them again though...this was like a fluke. so that's why i'm debating. oh well. thanks :)

Each time the high started to dwindle, I took a quarter to half a tablet. Ended up taking all five tablets throughout the day. Now I can't fall asleep. LOL didn't really think I'd have this problem with the IR.

Question now though...since I took 100mg in one day...my tolerance is automatically very high now? Like if I took 100mg in a few weeks, I wouldn't feel the same way? How long will the tolerance last?

I'm no expert on amphetamine tolerance, but good job blatantly ignoring the advice. In the future, its a good idea to do some research on your own before trying a drug and before bringing every question to the forum. A quick search can easily get you info such as duration of effects, average/recommended dose, etc. And of course you wont be able to sleep after a 100mg session. That's kinda what amphetamines do.

The higher you dose, the higher tolerance gets and the longer it takes to lower the tolerance. Adderall, to me, was only recreational the first few times I did it. Recently, I've only used it in small doses at work sometimes or when I have a day that I have to get a lot if shit done. Imo, adderall shouldn't be used for recreation, I've tried it in higher doses lately, after a few binges months ago and I got little euphoria, and a headache, with insomnia and unmotivated feelings when I'm not on it.

I'm grateful for the advice I received, but after I took one I just didn't want the high to end. In the end it was my choice.

Now I'm wondering how long one would have to wait to achieve the same high on the same dose. I mean this was my first time taking it.

PS I've joined numerous forums, and there is always some rude know-it-all who has to make smart remarks...it just isn't necessary. When you're new to a forum, you don't always know where to search or post. So thanks

Alright lets get back on track here...

Well you were fiending, it happens but of course it's not good and if you ever get some more try to control yourself better.

You most likely will not be able to achieve that high again, but since you are still relativley new to amphetamines I'd say if you took 5 days off or more you'll get close to it.....But really you shouldn't take 100mgs again next time. If you keep having 100mgs sessions eventually it's not going to matter how many days you take off.

Hah thanks Olab.. no need for any rudeness or snappiness anyone! Brillante, welcome to BL. If you are unsure about how to start, have a look at the Greenlighter's Guide. Your question was fine posted here, we handle any basic drug question apart from psychedelics, MDMA and cannabis-related ones as they have their own forum. Don't worry about questions being too simple - that's what we are here for!

Searching can be really useful to find information, there is an enormous amount on the site, and checking out the BDD threads of note and OD directory is another good way of finding info, but in this forum we actively encourage people to start their own threads so they can receive a personalised answer.

It can be frustrating if someone asks for advice, it is given, then ignored, but we are not in charge of your actions, we can only advise :)

Carry on!
