Questions regarding ayahuasca

Hey everyone!

I’m going to cut right to the chase, I have some question regarding ayahuasca…


1) Will using a plastic container to store the aya in anyway contaminate it? IOW, the brew was boiled in an aluminum pot, and strained into a plastic container, is there anyway the chemicals from the plastic would tamper with the brew?

2) would the dye from using a grey colored under shirt as a strainer, in anyway react with the aya?

3) If its being refrigerated, how long after its been brewed is it safe to drink the tea?


I’m slightly ocd and tend to worry about every possible scenario, anyone willing to shed light on this would be appreciated :D

well, i don't think very short term storage in plastic would be bad, and i've seen plenty video of various tribes in the amazon using cut up 2 liter bottles to drink ayahuasca, so there's that.

Why not just use a white shirt? I don't think the dye would leech out or be psychoactive or anything, but if you're worried about it a white t costs very little.

Not sure about that, though it does get shipped from south america to the u.s. for religious purposes, so i'd doubt it would be terribly degraded.
