The Nod - Many seem to find it to be their zenith of opioid use, while I find it rather annoying. How many of you out there think it's the shit and if you say it is, what other experiences have you had in life with drugs - any kind of drugs, and why do you personally love the nod?
i don't always take opiates to nod, but when i do, i think it's the shit.
i love it because it takes me to a place of nothingness, a warm, euphoric nothingness. i like to escape sometimes, that's all.
i've experienced everything from salvia/lsd to IV meth, IV morph, fentanyl, mdma, mda, dxm, tramadol, codeine, benzos, what have you. i don't see how this makes any difference though, everyone has their own attractions to certain drugs.
And who thinks like me, that nodding really is a waste of time? Because for me personally, shooting oxycontin gives me a rush that will last about 3 to 5 minutes, and if I shoot enough ... I'll nod out, but I scoped out some meth that I use in very mild doses - IV - to keep myself from nodding - because sometimes after I shoot, I'll nod for a couple of hours while not having any buzz at all. The meth works well, but it has it's own issues obviously so I don't use it that much. I'd love to try some heroin to see how that differs from Oxy, but I wouldn't know where to get it so I stick with what I CAN get - obviously.

i think IVing meth to counteract nodding from oxy is pretty counter-productive for your health. try using less of a dose or using other ROA's, utilising potentiators, etc. you're only picking up 2 habits using meth and oxy at the same time.
i've used them both IV together (been addicted to both, am dependent/addicted to morphine currently), and it's over rated imo, the high of IV oxy/meth together. oxy IV is disappointing in itself, meth, meth is another story, it's beautiful. as i said, there are healthier ways to combat the nod then by taking meth to counteract.
