Questions about smoking marijuana in dorm room

same exact experience except the school actually kicked me out too. lol. look what happened to penn state now? they're about to lose their accreditation. karma is a bitch haha.
 
Thankfully we didn't get kicked out of school. I think part of what saved us was that all three of us that lived there had the highest gpas in our dorm.

Yup, fun as until you get pulled over and give the cops immediate reason to search your car and then you get landed with a DUI. My friend got her life fucked over because she was driving 2 friends who were smoking pot (she wasn't even high) and got pulled over. She lost a lot over half a bowl. Driving and smoking will fuck you over. Getting high in your car is basically instant incrimination if you get pulled over.
 
thats why I smoke blunts in my car and only bring as much as I am going to smoke.

Worst case scenario it goes down the hatch, pop in a breathmint, and its like nothing ever happened

I agree I know a lot of people who got busted this way.

Some would do stupid things like park front of some random person's house in the middle of the day and hotbox their car. Or others would smoke bowls or joints openly at all times and blaze at red lights.

I've done it as a passenger but we used a small bowl, small joint, or one hitter, and we were very discrete.
 
i know it might be dangerous to hotbox a car put this is my favorite way to smoke. and for the people that say it impairs my driving? fuck off, no it doesn't.
 
i've never lived in a dorm but from what i can tell from visiting they are pretty much the opposite of "chill" the RAs are basically like cops and they'll bust open your door and search your shit if they suspect anything. don't do it.

Yeah that's why I never smoked in a dorm when I was living in one at a major university. My RA was actually pretty laid back but I still didn't like how the RA could go into your dorm without your permission. I had my RA go into my room once before when I was not there but I never kept anything lying around and it was well hidden even if it was just alcohol since I was underage. I had a lockbox I would hide things in I didn't want to keep lying around in plain sight or in a drawer.

I remember being in a dorm and just having a beer with buddies who were over 21 I had met in the dorm next to me and I got up to take a piss and they told me not to take the beer outside of the room or leave it in plain view in the room at all. Other people I knew would get freaked out if they were very drunk and wouldn't leave their dorm room since they worried that their RA would see them smashed and they get in trouble for having booze and being drunk since they were not 21. The dorms at my university allowed people who were over 21 to have booze in them but if you were over 21 you were not supposed to drink at all around people who were not 21 but nobody did that.

I visited my friend's dorm suite when he was at a university and a few times I wanted to smoke from a one hitter or even just a tiny piece of herb in a bowl and his roommate said not to since their RA was a total bitch.

Some RAs can be cool though but most are not and even will be hardasses and even get mad at people for drinking booze or even just seeing an an open container of liquor even if you're not drunk or drinking it at all. At my university my friend when he lived in a dorm he'd smoke blunts in there but his RA didn't care, and he would just do it late at night.

I read an article about people smoking herb in a dorm at a major Midwestern university and apparently there if they suspect you of smoking herb the cops can go into your dorm room and search it:
The drug policy states that evidence such as a plastic bag over the smoke detector, a fan blowing air out of the window, open windows when the weather is very cold or hot, a rug or similar barrier blocking the door, drug paraphernalia such as bongs or pipes or even comments heard by others in the dorm can be enough to prompt an investigation.

Here's what you do..

Put all illegals in your pocket and answer the door. Then when the cops ask to come in, don't respond, or say do what you gotta do. They can't come in without a warrant. And cops can't go into dorms since it's private property. However, school staff can. But school staff has no legal power. And your body can't be searched without a warrant. Loop-hole. Voila.
 
^ you're much much better off just not smoking in the dorm in the first place. and cops don't respect shit like warrants, they don't give a fuck. they'll just say probable cause.
 
It really just depends on your dorm -- check the scene, see what the other fools are doing and take it down a notch. I was lucky to be in a liberal school in cali where it was really nearly zero issue. I even got "caught" once by my RA. My punishment -- "Burn some incense and put a towel under your door next time" If your school has strict policy/enforcement...than ya, NOT worth the risk of getting kicked out.
 
We just controlled our hits... Used small straight glass pipe. Put out after each hit. Blow through paper towel roll with dryer sheets... We lived right next to RA.
