I'm going to be doing the last of my dope today and will have none at all for tommarow I've read allover this forum many times that these 2mg immodium pills help with w/d tremendously (i have the regular pills NOT the gel ones). so these are my questions- do i take the lope when i start to feel sick tomorrow morning? i read that 40 mgs is a good dose to take, most important question is do i just take all 20 pills at once? I'm a little uneasy about doing that is it relatively safe to do this?

I'm very skeptical about it working but I've read so many times on this site that it works amazing. i normally shoot 10-14 bags a day so will 40mgs of lope be enough or should i take more?

I personally never had to take massive doses of lope when coming off oxy, I found that 8-10 milligrams takes the edge off a bit and def shuts down the shit factory, I would stay away from huge doses, it can get dangerous. Don't expect it to be some miracle it basically stops the shits and takes the edge off slightly, if it were me I would stay under 10mg and if it helps it helps! Don't keep redosing expecting huge relief, it just doesn't work that way for me anyways. Maybe try to get some clonidine and hydroxyzine and throw that in with the immodium, it's about the best relief you will get unless you go the sub route or the lyrica / gabapentin route. Good luck.

^ well thats disappointing. how come i read so many stories here of people literally saying that it took away ALL w/d and that they can't believe how amazing it is, it is a "godsend", all that shit

Things effect people in different ways, for me it's just not the lifesaver some claim it to be, more so, I am just not comfortable taking those Massive doses people speak of, only you know your body, I was just posting my experience and opinion on lope. Bottom line is there is really NO WAY to avoid WD. You will have to deal with it to some extent there are ways to soften the landing and how you choose to do it is up to you, the easiest most comfortable way is to use sub and taper down to micrograms before jumping, you still have to deal with the aftermath, no energy, crappy sleep if any at all, depression and that empty hole we all feel

Loperamide has been a life saver for me more than once!! I usually do up to a gram IV of heroin a day. To battle WD I take 1Grame of Cimetidine (5 200mg pills) 1 hour before dosing my Loperamide (35 pills or more seems to keep me good all day) And Wham withdrawals are gone, except the terrible craving. But I once did a successful Lope taper just by dropping 1 pill a day... but that was back when 20 pills held me over..

For me, taking about 30-40 mg of lope when I had a habit took away 70-80 percent of the wd. The only symptom that stayed was the absolute exhaustion and lack of energy. But everything else was gone.

Varies for people. It is light years above cold turkey IME

High doses will bind to enough opiate receptors in the body to completely stop withdrawal. It will not 100% kill the mental craving to get high. Please don't try and get high off it, but take 40-50mg and be amazed what it does to your withdrawal symptoms.

Activation of enough opiate receptors in the body can produce a placebo effect where you will swear you're slightly high. Some people take massive doses and actually do get high (100+mg). This can be extremely dangerous.. Several people have died taking massive doses on bluelight.

I've never had an issue eating 30 2mg pills. It has taken away literally 95% of my withdrawal before. It is absolutely a life saver. Now that there is a huge heroin problem in South Florida, you can barely find it on the shelves.

This is the same for me, I still have intense cravings and I still yawn and get teary eyed and lazy/tired and can't sleep good. That's crazy tho that so many people are taking it, I read on here in a thread once that someone said Michigan was trying to make it a scheduled substance so it can only be prescribed (like its wonderful big brother Lomotil) but some world health medical organization said Loperamide is an important essential medication, up there with morphine and amoxicilin. (sp?)

Cause if you think about it if someone has a case of diarrhea that in killing them (dehydration) loperamide can halt your GI track and no more pooping to death!! But it's scary when this information becomes more known, out here in AZ I feel like I'm the only opiate fiend who uses this wonderful life saver (I can work without dope on lope [hahaha] so that I can get a pay check to buy dope! pathetic, I know but Fuck you, I love heroin) even people I tell who want to quit or are "deathly dope sick" and want any type of relief, like a buddy of mine Ty just wanted something to help him sleep and stop feeling bad. I told him about taking Cimetidine+Lope and how it works so well for me but he was reluctant to take 20+ pills of anything so instead he got some Trazodone from me and tried using those to detox which was just horrible I could imagine.

But to OP, if you really want to get the most out of Loperamide, take a P-glycoprotein inhibitor 1 hour before you take your loperamide. I promise you that you will see a very noticeable difference (but only if you are using it to stop withdrawals)
This is not a way to get high of lope but a way to help the lope stay on the right side of the BBB so that it gets adsorbed better and stop the horrible withdrawals symptoms.
Now it is a life saver and wonderful accessible tool for opiate addicts to use to help them through the shit part of opiate addiction, and it could be used as a means to stop opiates if you taper, I did that once and it went rather well, but loperamide only takes away a majority of the withdrawals you will still feel some discomfort (for me it's yawning and teary eyes and sweating)

I've wasted enough of your time, good day and good luck

I tried using 24 mg of lope' coming off 1 - 2 mg doses of Subutex for a chronic pain condition -
(seems to only help if you wait 48 between doses) but the lope' froze up my GI tract so bad, worse than oxy', dilaudid, or even morphine ever did with another 4 - 6 days of cramped guts, bowels, intestines...

I was always afraid to use more because of how 12 pills made me feel.
