This may seem very silly, and it's not a current situation, my friends and I were discussing these types of things and we couldn't agree on the following and are wondering what others think.
We know injecting pills isn't a good idea, but people are going to do it anyway and again this ISN'T a current situation, we are just curious. I know a bit about the body and the circulatory system.
I've really tried to find the answers to these on the web/forum.
1. say someone is injecting and they end up not totally getting a vein and inject alot of the medicine outside of the vein, just in the tissue, what kinds of complications can develop from that? I assume if everything isn't sterile there's a possibility of infection, anything else?
2. You mess up while injecting and end up thinking you need medical attention, maybe your arm swells up, or looks/feels strange in some way, what do you tell the medical staff? Do you admit you were injecting meds? or do you say something else? (when would you get medical attention?)
3. I know a complication with injecting anything is too much fluid in your circulatory system. How long does it take for this extra fluid to leave the circulatory system. I've been looking up the circulatory system, but can't find how long it takes for your blood to clear itself out, I don't know if I worded that correctly.
4. Some people believe you can 'give yourself' Hep C by reusing one of your own syringes. I don't think it's possible because I believe the virus needs to come from someplace, it can't just pop up in your syringe, out of nowhere. My friend is sure that it's possible and that is the easiest type of Hep C to cure. I've found information about this on the web, but only opinions, no definitely correct answers, if your giving your opinion on this and it differs from mine, I'd like to hear why you believe this is possible.
5. This maybe should be in a different post, but I'll throw it in here. I was reading the FAQ and about people incriminating themselves and bluelighters getting raided, no one knows if it has anything to do with posting here, but do you think law enforcement would be able to find you by a post on here if you don't provide any personal information? I mean just by finding and using your ip address or something along those lines?
Thanks, in advance, for not being rude in your replies.
I know alot about drugs, I'm not totally naive about these things. I don't know why but drugs and how they affect the body and mind has always been a huge interest. I realized once that if someone checked my computer history, if it hasn't been cleaned they would probably assume I take alot of stuff, but it's just curiosity.
Have a great day!
