hi i am new to this forum and i posted basically this same thread and i was advised to post in this forum. i have been on prescription pain pills for 10 years and only very recently began injecting (dilaudid). i was succesful,in that icredible pain relief/high/rush. did alot of resarch 1st (used sterile saleine new syringes) but did not filter and think thats how i got a bacterial infection. have since ordered filters. anyway i was wondering if i could make a solution and keep it in the syringe for later (same nite or next day)? read a post yesterday about bacteriostatic water but it did not say how much to use. i guess it depends on the amount of pills. i usually shoot 2 8mg d's. how much b. water would you have to use for a bigger batch? also would that fit thru a .2 filter? With dilauid is a .2 filter to small for 2 8mg d's?

Well your syringes probably only hold 1mL/cc/100units. You don't really want more than 40 units in a shot IMO. So try and keep that ratio of 40 units:1dose (#2 x 8mg pills in your case). The hydromorphone will pass through any micron filter you are likely to use.

You probably don't want to prepare shots to use later. Some opiates degrade in water, though I'm not entirely certain about hydromorphone.

I don't know if Other Drugs was the forum that you posted in originally and were told to go elsewhere, but don't listen if that is the case. The majority of the injection questions are discussed there and you would likely get great responses there. Some people there are kind of moody... don't let it get to you.
