My apologies if I posted in the wrong forum...
I'm planning on looking for work in the USA in the near future. Where I am living now, employee drug testing is virtually unheard of. I am struggling to prevent myself from going on a rant about the evils of drug testing. I will most likely be looking for residential construction work doing framing, but I could be looking for other types of residential or commercial construction work. How common is drug testing with this type of work? I have already quit marijuana. I should be fine to pass a urine test anytime, but I have a bit of a dilemma with the possibility of hair testing. It is my understanding that hair testing is more expensive and therefore less common. Can anybody give me an idea of how common urine vs. hair testing is? Poppy season is just starting so it would be a shame not to make some opium tea. I usually consume this once a week in a dose large enough to potentially lead to vomiting, but I take breaks of 2-4 weeks now and then. My head is shaved with a "#3". I'm hoping that this is short enough to shorten the detection window but long enough that they wouldn't take body hair instead? Last time I drank the tea was 16 days ago. I am hoping to get my job hunt going in a month or two. Opium is a great remedy to unwind from the stress, danger, and physical soreness that comes with construction work, but the move is one of the most important things in my life right now. If it is too risky to drink the tea I guess I'll have to stick to psychedelics. My poor poppies. That's as sad as telling somebody not to harvest vegetables from their vegetable garden. If drug testing is used on construction workers, how do people get drywall installed??
