I'm not sure if I have this question in the right forum- if I don't, I apologize, and please help me get my question to the correct place. (I was not sure which spot to ask about something like blue lotus)
There is not a lot of info on blue lotus out there, probably because it's not very researched. I have been told it's a natural anti-anxiety alternative to xanax and other anti-anxiety medications (and that it can also help in the withdrawal of other drugs). Specific questions I am looking for answers to are:
1.) Is is addictive? (mentally and/or physically?)
2.) If you stop taking it, can it cause withdrawals?
3.) Is it possible to overdose on blue lotus?
4.) Does blue lotus have any side effects?
5.) Can it cause damage if taken long term?
I used to have a codeine addiction (I know that sounds like a baby-ish thing to be addicted to compared to other drugs out there, but it was my drug of choice at that time, and caused horrible withdrawals for me. Probably because I am so sensitive and have a low weight). I never want to put myself in an addiction situation again. I do suffer from some anxiety, and have heard a little blue lotus tea every now and then helps. But one thing's for sure- I definitely do not want to get addicted to/experience withdrawals from medications ever again, so the natural route is something i want to research more. Any information anyone has on blue lotus would be very helpful
Thanks, and again, I'm sorry if I've put this question in the wrong place
