Stimulants Questions about amphetamine as a study aid.

I've read a bit about amphetamine's potential as a study aid so I've decided to give it a try. I've recently acquired a connection to get amphetamine and I intend to use it not recreationally but to help me concentrate on my studies for the final exams which are one month away. I'm pretty experienced with drugs but I've never done amphetamine or any other stimulant so I'm pretty nervous and have a few questions.

What would be the best dose to help me concentrate on my work and keep me awake but wouldn't be recreational? Keep in mind that this is basic street speed and not adderall or anything like that.

Is it okay to do it for almost a month every other day? Do I face a risk of getting addicted with such small amounts? I intend to stop using it after I'm done with the finals.

Should I stop some before the exams to "get my head straight" and avoid withdrawal (if there would be any) or should I keep using it until after the exams?

Any additional tips from experienced users are welcome and appreciated. And thanks.

I would not recommend using street speed for the purpose of studying. It is too cheap for the large amount of amphetamine (compared to RX stims) you are buying, and street drugs are not regulated in terms of potency, so the same dose that was just right once could get you "tweaked" and unfocused the next.

Remember that the strongest Dexedrine IR tablets come in 10mg units, and the strongest Adderall IR tablets come in 30mg units (20-30mg is far more than anyone needs all at once imo). A small baggie of amphetamine sulfate can easily come in doses ranging from 100mg-500mg, depending on how much you spend. A gram of 50% pure amp sulfate has the equivalent amount of amp as 500mg of Adderall.

Especially considering you've never tried amps before, if you must use it to study, please don't get something in a form that is so easily abusable and unregulated, and look for some RX stims, preferably Dextroamphetamine at a dose of 5-7.5mg, with booster dosages of 2.5-5mg taken every 3 hours, at a daily dose not exceeding 15mg (recommended) - 20mg (maximum).

Remember that amphetamine is a highly addictive drug, and although it can be used responsibly as a great tool, you must be very strict with your dosing, and need to realize that the symptoms of euphoria, stimulation, forced motivation, insomnia, appetite suppression, etc are all symptoms of excess dopamine, and this is what causes neurotoxicity, tolerance, dependence, and addiction. All you should look for with therapeutic amphetamine usage is simply to be more alert and focused, nothing else. Anybody who tells you otherwise is lying to themselves.

If you absolutely must use street speed for studying, never take it any other way than orally, and never take it "just once" recreationally. Abuse (non-oral ROA and occasional recreational usage) will make your therapeutic dosages not work as well anymore.

I think its a good idea, although i have no experience with street amphetamine salts, only adderall, dexedrine, etc. i would give it a cwe just to be safe. i do that whenever i buy street drugs that are water soluble.

in the UK 50% seems optimistic, i don't enjoy speed on its own really, unless i've sniffed a lot and i'm nice and drunk. my advice would be to not use anything, if you're not experienced with it it's likely to fuck a lot with your sleep taking it every other day, tweak you out, and just make you feel shitty, and fuck things up a lot more than eating well, a proper sleep schedule etc. just stick with coffee, n good luck in your exams.

Street speed - whack.. You'll get soo fucked up after, that you will forget all of your jobs and papers. Believe me, i've been thru some "powerful" comedowns, it lead me to tightness in the chest, it hurted so much, that i barely could inhale some air. Couldnt walk for days because of it. Overheating and stuff like that. Impurities that happens to be in street speed just makes me sad. However you probably will get addicted, as you will find out that it could change everything. The Euphoria(mostly you'll just would have a better mood), thoughts will race like crazy, most of the time you will realise that those thoughts were stupid, after you comedown. And stuff like that. Be careful, i suggest to better NOT try it. And sorry for my bad english.

I would definitely use dextroamphetamine or adderall if I could acquire any, but the only stimulant I can get my hands on is, unfortunately, street speed. Ritalin or adderall aren't even prescribed for ADD/ADHD here in Lithuania so those are not an option. Also, Aivaras, your nickname sounds Lithuanian, if you are, could you tell me anything about the purity of amph here? Maybe even dosage recommendations?

Also, thanks for the warnings, I will definitely be strict with my dosage and not try it recreationally even once, even though I was tempted before.

Also, about the CWE method, would this possibly purify speed and make it better to use for studying? Thanks again!

No. To purify amphetamines you do an acetone wash. Very basic stuff.

Don't use speed as a study aid though that's such a bad idea. It's one thing with controlled doses (and even then is contradicted), but this is pretty much the same as using crystal meth instead of finding an FDA approved stimulant.
