Well, I'm not going to tell you why you should or shouldn't be a christian, that's your path to choose. I grew up Mormon and briefly attended a christian church when I was a teenager. Mormonism is one of the most fantastical, bizaare religions out there, I always struggled to believe it. Over the years I can honestly say I don't and can't believe in the christian beliefs in any way anymore... for a lot of reasons. It just doesn't make sense to me. I also struggle with certain typical christian beliefs regarding things like homosexuality. I'll never understand why all those people are lined up with anti-gay marriage signs while people are dying all over the world, but I know not all christians fit that category. I personally felt bound, oppressed and smothered by religion, I spent every day feeling guilty, unworthy, and not good enough no matter how hard I tried. I've never been someone who could follow authority blindly and I've always questioned everything, and that got me in a lot of trouble back in those days. So, for myself, I feel so grateful to be free from religion, but I not ever christian is religious, so you may not even be part of an organized christian religion.

Either way, I don't care what spiritual path you take, as long as you're truly happy, fulfilled and not hurting anybody else with it.
As for my personal beliefs, I can't know anything for sure, that's one thing I know. All my beliefs could be totally wrong. I wont know til I die. xD haha. I personally strongly doubt there is a God, as in a personal, intelligent deity up in the sky. I do believe in a higher 'order' or power to the universe, I believe we are all God together, we make up what God is, the entire process and cycle of life and energy but who knows. I believe there is way more than what us humans generally perceive, I believe in other dimensions. I believe all life, even a mouse, is valuable and deserves to live a life free of suffering and pain. I believe in karma and that whatever energy and intention you put out to the universe, intentionally or not, will be what you get back. We co-create our reality together. I have a really strong connection to trees, nature and the cosmos. I feel strongly that plants, trees, etc have a spirit to them, not necessarily an intelligent one, but an energetic one, that we can interact with like shamans used to. Over all, the most important thing I believe in is love and compassion.
