First and foremost, I want to clarify that I am NOT asking how to pass a piss test. Secondly, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum.

I was recently switched from Percocet 10mg to Oxycodone 15mg for my back issues. If I occasionally take an extra Oxycodone or two when needed and I'm given a piss test, how accurate are those tests in determining the mg of said drug in your system? For example, I've been told through sources at my job that you can be fired if it is determined through drug testing that you are abusing a prescribed prescription drug? Would 1 or 2 additional here and there warrant "abusing" that drug? Are most clinical tests so accurate that they can confidentally say this person is taking 4 per day instead of 3? I understand that if you are prescribed 3 per day and you are taking 20 that will likely be an issue, but is there a certain level which is considered abuse?

Just another general question, how do you all feel about pure oxycodone 15mg versus Perks? My PM doc recently changed me when I expressed a concern with taking that much tylenol per day. I'm also prescribed somas which I feel work great when combined with the oxy to alleviate the pain.

My belief is such test are a positive or negative test, a blood sample and an approximate time of ingestion would be needed to determine the possible amount injested and then it would still be fairly crude.

Someone else may know better but that would be my opinion

This still isn't allowed, sorry dude. I think you are way over-thinking this, but perhaps they could tell with some very sophisticated testing.
