Question regarding DXM extraction.

I'm planning on trying a simple agent lemon DXM extraction and theres something I'm unsure about. Today I bought Ronsonol lighter fluid because I read that it has naphtha in it. However after buying the lighter fluid I googled whether or not it has naphtha in it and I've been reading that naphtha was recently removed from Ronsonol lighter fluid. So I'm just wondering if anyone has recently tried DXM extraction with Ronsonol lighter fluid and whether or not it has worked for them. I just don't want to end up trying the extraction and have it not work, resulting in me wasting 20$ on cough medicine. Any info is appreciated, thank you.
