question regarding bupe, benzo & tramadol

Greetings. My doctor recently has prescribed Suboxone 8mg 1x daily, which I usually take before work and also Klonopin for Anxeity 2x Daily. Usually taken once before work, and another about 8 hours later. Now just recently was at another facility for medical care regarding a back pain issue and they prescribed Ultram 100mg 4x daily. as needed.

Now my question ultimately is, is this combo ok to take? I obviously do not take any of the 3 medications at once. I just want to know if it's safe to do. I have searched all over the forum for possible similar questions, but no go.

Thanks

I do not think the tramadol will work will on suboxone. I can't imagine it being better then bupe for pain either. You probably won't really wanna keep em around cause you may just end up abusing them when you get off the bupe, which can then just lead back to real opiates.

thanks for the response. but in fact I have taken the Tramadol & Bupe together before, and believe it or not, it's a really nice synergy for pain. Was not expected. The native that is really being thrown into the mix is the Klonopin.

Well your not really suppose to take benzo's with opiates as you increase your chances of respiratory depression. They wouldn't give me suboxone in rehab cause I told them I took benzos the day I got admitted. If i were you I would probably just take half my normal klonopin dose and see how I feel. Actually I'd probably still take my normal dose, but in the name of harm reduction start with at half.

Then again Suboxone alone works great for anxiety for me.

I take sub with KPin never had a problem. I'm scripted 10mg sub (as if I take that much ;) ) and 2.5 mg Kpin per day. My Dr. was one of the few who allows benzo's/sub. I also get gabapentin + hydroxyzine so, they are all rec. valuable in one way or another.

Benzo's + Heroin isn;t safe unless careful.

Tramadol is a weird opiateish drug. If you take Sub, then tramadol in that order, waiting a while after the sub theres no problem. You can always do opiates after subs, worst case you just don't feel it.

On the other hand people say opiates then sub can cause withdrawals, I have my own thoughts but not important, generally I think tram+sub is the only opiate+sub that can be taken together because the tram works on dif receptors than the sub. (You can obviously take bupe+any opiate, I just think without extreme dosages or possible withdrawals w/e tram is the best choice)
