greetings my friends

i'm sure this is not in the correct section so please bare with me and point me in the right section.

now to my question. started taking phenibut some months ago. only on friday before going to bad. never failed to put me in a TOP mood the next day.
of course had to up the dose and ended up taking like 2,5g. ran out and had absolutely no withdraw problems. 5 weeks without my beloved phenibut that was lol.

i stocked up and plantaking it on fridays again. difference now is that i'm taking during the week a diazepam or two 10mg each. do they interfere? has the phenibut tolerance effect on my diazepam tolerance?

thanks in advance

What were your dose to begin with? Im interested in knowing more about tolerance development in Phenibut when it comes to using it as you do (once a week or so). Im using it my self and love it, but I only need 700-1100 mg (most of the time 700-800) to get the desired effects and I have not noticed any tolerance development so far (I have been using it for over 1 year now), I only use it 1-3 times a month though.

There should not be that big of a cross tolerance between benzos and Phenibut as they act on different receptors within the GABA receptor complex but Phenibut will work on the GABA-A (as benzos) when taken in large doses (2,5 g will stimulate the GABA-A receptor for sure) so my quess will be that yes, you will experience some cross tolerance but not as much as if you were to take phenibut + GBL/GHB or Baclofen.

Phenibut + benzos on the same day definitely potentiates each other so start out with a lower dose than usually to see how things goes. Diazepam has a very long half-life (up to 100 hours due to active metabolites) so you should have this in mind then dosing Phenibut on days after Diazepam.

IMO, if you are developing tolerance to anything really, it means you are doing it too often and/or in too large doses. I will advice you to take less Phenibut or even better, with longer breaks in between each dose, untill you find a way to get the effects you want from a consistent dose. There probably wont go long before you will need to take 3 gs to achive the effects you get from 2,5 gs now and before you know it you are physically addicted.

The post above explains it very good. Just dont take them together.
I found this today: http://www.longecity.org/forum/topic/51645-phenibuthorrible-side-effects/
I hope this link is allowed.
After 2 weeks on 2,5g a day I had exactly the same nightmares! The first night I dreamt that my father tryed to kill me with a golf bat but I blocked every hit. The second night I had sex in a dream and after that she also wanted to kill me. I was running away in total panic.
Has someone else experienced very strange dreams when coming off or on Phenibut?
Sry its a bit offtopic but I dont want to start a new thread for that.

my phenibut comes in 500mg capsules so i started with one. 90 capsules are in the tube. halfway through i had to take 2,5g already for the desired effect. i intended to use it for a better sleep which helped immense. sleeping 10 - 12h on it and waking up with a kind of mild euphoria. very chatty, listening to music is more fun i even go jogging for a hour which i usually HATE. no positive effects on anxiety or stress situations. no super drug like many claim, just a working mood enhancer.

i'll start again with 1g but never above 2g due to the benzo issue. I want to keep the dosage on the benzo as low as possible obviously. can't prevent them overlapping though due to the half life.
