Question on Hydrocodone dosing

Wouldn't it be awesome if they made non-APAP 30/60/80mg Hydro tablets like they do Oxy? I would never use Oxy again if such shit existed.

They were actually making ZoHydro, which was I believe a 50mg pure extended release hydrocodone capsule. But I think the FDA denied it because it wasn't 'Abuse-Proof'. It was actually supposed to be released recently. Google it.

I would kill for those. (not really, but you know what I mean)

Most people prefer Oxy but let's face it, it has to do with tolerance, availability and price. It's easier to buy one OC60 instead of buying 7 and a half 10/500 hydros (if a dealer even fucking has them) and CWE'ing them.

But assuming the dose is adequate, I cannot see how anyone would prefer oxy. Oxy is like a spark. Hydro is a burning bonfire. Think back to when you first started...which was better? Almost everyone I know with a low tolerance prefers hydro.

And I'm choking on irony. They deny the 50mg Hydro because it's not "abuse-proof" and allow the 30, 60 and 80mg oxys. Hilarious, palpable irony. Hypocrisy, the more applicable term, I shall say.

I'm guessing that's how they want all extended release narcotics to be now. In an attempt to thwart addicts away. When in reality they're more than likely going to switch to the big H. Extended release hydro would've been awesome, and honestly I'm sure many people would've benefited from it. Granted addicts would be snorting them up and shooting them but who's here to judge? Also I heard generic opanas are supposed to be the old formulation and it was actually approved.

I remember having a few friends of mine asking me. "OMGZ DUDEZ WANNA BUY SOME VIKEZ THEY'RE 1000 mgs!!! $XxX PER PILL!!" Naturally I would shut them down and tell them that they're 1000mgs of acetaminophen and had a ridiculous argument on how they were wrong and they would not let up at all. They tried telling me, of all people about drugs. I'm rambling but yes you must've dreamt of 500-1000mgs of hydrocodone, because that would be exactly that, a dream if it existed.

I so remember the misinformed people, still run into people like them from time to time. The best part is when they are dead wrong but insist they are right. I have a rule, I will correct them once, if they argue I will again try to convince them they are wrong. If they still continue to be ignorant I let them go on their way thinking what they want. Granted there are some very intelligent drug users, but there are also a lot with IQs of 50.

And to the OP, you considered yourself a "big expert" on hydrocodone, why because you take them? This is like someone claiming to be a big expert on human anatomy and saying humans have only 15 bones in their whole body.

Wait there's more than 15 bone in the body? I thought it was all 1 big bone..? Whatevs

My brother pointed out to me it's best not to correct people unless they ask you to. For him he says if he's wrong to tell him, but in general it makes you look like a prick regardless. Just something you may want to take into consideration. And my brother is rarely wrong so idk I've ever got the chance to correct him. If he doesn't know about something he keeps his mouth shut and listens. Then looks it up if its something he's interested in repeating, unless its medical advice or something coming from an expert. Then he prefaces it with "you know, I heard from doctor smith that.."

But yeah the OP asked a question so teach him something.
