Misc question on DXM

My weed dealer told me recently that one DXM trip is as bad as 3 years worth of drinking on your liver.. ive done countless hours of research into DXM and have never heard anything of the sort. is this true and how toxic/harmful is DXM on your liver?

If you use a syrup that contains other ingredients than just DXM, like APAP, it can definitely damage your liver (the APAP that it). Perhaps that is what he had heard about. DXM by itself in usual recreational doses is not known to damage the liver.
