I have been looking into how to calculate the exact (or well, estimate at least lol) psylocibin content of dried mushrooms (ground to powder and capped in 500mg capsules). Anything i find on it says a mushroom has 90% water weight, but only notes potency changes of a couple 0.1%'s of total dry weight compared to "fresh weights" and no real proper conversion charts. I m aware potency is supposed to vary mostly based on growing conditions, etc. But it seems hard to believe theres only 2-4mgs of psylocibin within 500mgs of total dry weight. Shouldnt it be more like 10 times that due to the water loss? so around 20-40mgs
I know i must be making a mistake somewhere (probably a stupid one) but i m not seeing it yet, so if anyone here could point it out to me i'd much appreciate it. thank you
