question involving methadone

i am on a stable dose of 60mg methadone daily . . i usually dose in the morning at the clinic and no problems. well i didnt make it in yesterday so i was feeling pretty bad . but i ended up running across a methadone 10mg at like 10oclock at night , so i took it of course without hesitation. well i woke up today and went to the clinic and dosed my usual 60mg not thinking anything about the 10mg i took last night. then it hit me. that i might overdose from taking extra. any advice? i know it was stupid to break my dosing schedule :/
 
That would be very, very unlikely. Anything is possible in this crazy world, but methadone tolerant individuals (MMT) can sonsume 2-3 times their daily dose with the only realy issue being intense somnolence. Just for reference sake, do with it what you will. Now, don't throw any other drugs into the mix, especially benzos or alcohol, that's a more realistic danger for people like us.
