hey guys...
question:
i was trying to dig up all my old writings to back them up on disk... and well, i'm having a hard time finding them
i've searched both this forum and the archives...and nothing
i'm getting a little worried, 'cause, being the retard i am, i entrusted this board to preserve the only copy of my writings, rather then backing them up...
did some stuff get lost in the move to the new board??? any help would be greatly appreciated...
and a big "howdy" to any old friends who may be reading this...

jay..... i think the search button is f'ed up. i tried doing a search in the Words archive for my stuff too, and it came up with no matches. but if you take the time to go through the pages in the archive, everything is still all in tact.
i'll bring it up to the admins so they can fix it.
 
anyways, i wouldnt be too worried if that was the only place you saved your work (although you should know better, BACK YOUR SHIT UP!)...
cuz i have a copy of just about everything you've ever written in this forum. and i'd be more than happy to SELL it to you if the server ever crashed and burned ;)
hehe.
 
I feel that soulfly.
I really really need to still unpack all of my stuff from the boxes in the third room; There are some hard copies backed up in there.
 
FYI
I spoke to skydancer... the search feature will still be messed up for the next 2 weeks. then it will be fixed. so lets just bear with him. he's the man.
 
that's a relief...
i can deal with two weeks...as long as the stuff still exists somewhere
