OK, so it's been over a year since I harvested my own plants, as last year a bunch of them died coz I was growing them somewhere I shouldn't have and had a lil conscience trip on some bomb L and culled them...

So the day before yesterday I harvested 3 nice fat pineapple punch plants (one went purple mmm <3 ) and while I was sitting in my room I noticed I was starting to feel real lightheaded and strange...I was trimming for about 1.5 hours.

Then about an hour afterwards, I was finding things very funny indeed, my eyes felt like they do when I'm baked, and about another hour later I felt just like I was coming down, residual spine tingles etc.

Has anyone else had this when trimming for a short period of time? I have never noticed this before and had 4 crops before...BUT I never trimmed in such a small room in previous grows.

eaaaaaaaaaaasy...

Yes, I was thinking that as well...except - I kinda did.

I was thinking it could've been because I was smoking the day before (I don't smoke it everyday), and because ganja has such a long half life - it triggered something in me, like a THC-flashback?

It happened, I'm not bullshitting - I'm not just some stupid noob who doesn't know shit about weed, I've been growing it and studying it for 7 years, and as I said this has never happened to me before!

probably placebo from all the anticipation you have for smoking the harvest :)

yes THC can absorb transdermally

back in the day transdermal cannabis preperations were fairly common

i got to trim for the first time over Christmas break and after 3.5-4 hours i def felt a sort of a body high comperable to eating a brownie or something

look it up THC for sure works transdermally

there used to be all sorts of creams in the early 1900 and a quick google search reveals talk of a possible marijuana transdermal patch in the near future

i was actually quite surprised to hear that so many other people who have spent time triming had not noticed such effects

the effects are subtle and much different then smoking but still very distinct, noticable and effective

Pretty sure weed on its own isn't transdermal . The creams and patches you're talking about have additives to make them transdermal.

rub enough trichomes off the stems and you will see

EDIT: as the OP stated i too am no pot smoking newb. i have been a daily smoker for 7 years. that was my first time to trim however

Hmm... I wouldn't say it got me high per se - a lil stoned, the eye feeling I get as soon as I start toking, spine tingles, inane attitude - most of the effects were like the come-down after you've smoked - very strange indeed.
