Question for any Ketamine and Piracetam users?

Ive begun my piracetam regime a few months ago and have noticed when doing k it loses most of the ket effects.

How long should I abstain form using piracetam before k? Any suggestions???

It's a commonly reported effect. A short period of abstinence won't suffice, Racetams have a cumaltive effect.

Something to do with modulation of acetylcholine levels and a thickening of NMDA receptors, if memory serves right. When I used to do MXE I would only take it with aniracetam, it kept it from getting too weird while amplifying all the positive aspects.

Hi cannibalsnail, do you have any reference to the fact that negation of ketamine effects goes on after piracetam discontinuation? we all know piracetam's nootropic effects are cumulative but are you sure this also happens for ketamine interaction or its just speculation?
i would really appreciate your response on this issue.

That would suggest that a downstream effect or homeostasis effect is responsible. My conjecture is that the increased ampa receptor activity from piracetam causes an up regulation of NMDA receptors. This would take time in the absence of piracetam to revert.
