i my self am an opiate addict and i want to assure you all i am in NO way judging anyone.
however i am curious, what do most alcoholics see in alcohol? i enjoy every drug a lot except alcohol. i love benzos and other GABA drugs, but not booze. i only drink occasionally. all it seems too do is make people stupid and turn them into angry assholes. i just dont see the appeal as much as say heroin or meth.
when i was in rehab most alcoholics said it was the ease of access. you can buy beer almost anywhere. yet some had access to xanax or other benzos and they ALL liked alcohol more. some had even given up other drugs for booze! i just dont see why they pick such a "dirty high". i understand the concept of how addiction works, but for some reason alcoholism just seems silly, like being addicted to DXM, but with life threatening withdrawals.
anyone care to school me? haha. i apologize if ive upset anyone.
