Question concerning IV Meth

Hey - I'm wondering, since Meth is a salt, if you decide to IV it, but don't suck everything up - will it eventually dry up into what looks like residue? And if this happens, is it a waste? My soon-to-be ex-roommate was furious at me for washing one of his spoons i found around the house. I just want to know because I don't get why he would be mad....I'm paranoid as fuck, I don't intend on getting caught with drug charges ever - and I'm certainly not going down for him!

Thanks for the input!

Any solution, after the solvent evaporates, will leave a residue of the solute (in this case, whatever he was injecting. Meth/cuts.) on the surface from which it evaporated.

That being said, it would be crawling with bacteria at that point and really shouldn't be injected.

The residue we called "wash" on the spoon/cooker (iv heroin but still pertains). Over time we would keep allowing it to build up to do a "wash" for a free shot essentially. Horrible from a harm reduction stand point, just trying to inform you. Some people save their used filters as well to "wash", "beat", "mash" to get another shot out of it.
