Question bout hydrocodone/apap

Alright, I'm prescribed Norco 5/325, and I have a high tolerance for hydrocodone. Even when I'd never done hydrocodone before, the dose all my friends were "feeling good" on did nothing to me. Then when I had first gotten prescribed hydrocodone (up to then I'd only done hydrocodone once and that was what I was just referring to, and that was a long time before I'd gotten prescribed it). Anway, no matter how much I would take it would do nothing to me. Recently, I have been prescribed it again so I take 6 of them, equaling out to 30mg hydrocodone/1950 acetaminophen. I only take this dose once a day, and the only time I even feel a buzz is if I smoke weed. Then it makes my high feel AMAZING. But anyway, off to the real question. I know the maximum dose of acetaminophen is 3000mg (down from 4000mg) a day, so I was wondering if it'd be fine to take 6 of my Norcos a day, I did it one day, then I did it the day after that, the next day I didn't do it, then after that I did it again, and now here I am with my last 6 pills wondering if I'd be good to take them without any setbacks haha.

You kind of answered your own question bud. If you're staying below the max level and have already taken that many in the past with no ill effects, my guess would be that you'll be just peachy. Everyone's body's are different but you seem to have a moderate tolerance and are staying within the recommended limits, and even taking a few days off in between. Relax and enjoy.

Like another has said, if you're taking below the max daily and have been fine so far doing that....you should be fine this time again. Just remember to not make it that much of a habit. I know the max apap is 4000 but in all actuality you should be taking less than that. You don't want your liver enzymes to be too much higher than they should be.

Agreed. 2000mg of APAP a day will get you into trouble...specifically destroying your liver type of trouble.

Check out the CWE (Cold Water Extraction) thread linked above. Do a CWE, get rid of the APAP, and your liver will thank you.

I use the cold water extraction and its wonderful, plus if you drink the solution it gets you high faster than hard pills-
also, even if you are watching you acetaminophen intake and worried about your liver, you aslo need to take into account other drugs that you liver
metabolizes, esp. alcohol
