Question about use of 2 opiates and withdraw

Ok I came across 30 8mg hydromorphon I have been using heroin for 2 years and I do about a gram of good black tar a day. Since taking the dillys I have only done maybe half of gram of Heroin Total in the past 4 days. Now I'm planning on not even doing my one fix a day n just kill the rest of the dillys. . So my question is this... Since I really haven't done h... I'm guessing that opiate is out of my body n I'm running on 3 or 4 dillys a day I'm not sick but I'm sweating like a mule... N my energy is threw the roof and I don't like nebody.. Lol. So I know I'm wd from not doing heroine but the wds are being held at bay by the hydromorphon.. Now I already kno how potent hydromorphon is... But since I only have 30 pills n no h in my system can I expect milder withdrawals?. It is a way shorter acting opiate n I'm never high.. So I figure it shouldn't be.? to bad... Since I'm not taking dillys long term.Ne one go threw this

No, your withdrawals will be worse and more frequent.

The higher up on the chain you go, the more brutal the withdrawals.

Hmm doesn't make sense to me. If heroin is out of my body n I'm using dillys short term at according to the conversion matrix I'm taking in less morphine then I would with my daily h habit.. Shouldn't my wds be equal to the of any other person taking 3 or 4 8s a day? I kno the dilly wd is more intense but I figure that's from long term use..

you're just subbing one opiate for another - it depends on how many days you've been taking the hydromorphone, if it's over 5 then i'd expect a quick hellish withdrawal. The thing with heroin is that you don't know how pure it is really, with hydromorphone you know exactly what you are getting. if only 24-32mg of hydromorphone is holding you then your H habit wasn't that bad, relatively. I'd expect heroin withdrawals still, maybe they won't last as long but just because it's out of your system doesn't mean that your brain doesn't have to recover from what the heroin itself did to it, those opiate receptors are going to be crying for opiates either way.

perhaps they'll be a tiny bit more mild since you kind of tapered yourself a bit with the dilaudid but still it won't be a walk in the park if you've been using for a couple of years. I'd be stocking up on some loperamide at the very least for when those Ds run out.

That's what I'm getting at. I have a huuuge heroin habit.. Talkin ur rent every week lol... So these 4 dillys a day keep me right in the middle of fetal position sick n able to function... Stomach pains light headed news change in energy lack of ne real emotions... I most feel annoyed n angry and the worst thing by far...... Sweats lol.. N I've been going threw this non stop for a few days.. Err I'm not looking forward to the jump off tho... I never intended to quit but it feels good to not spend money on drugs..

dilaudid wds are more intense than H wds but they wont last as long

I tried to move from 320mgs of OC to 10-15 norcs a day. When I kicked, it was a nightmare. I thought exactly like you. Truth is your opioid receptors are being fed by the "Dillys" so it's not hurting yet. If you maintain the 3-4 Dillys a day for a week or so then you will not have heroin in your body but you'll still hurt if you stop cold turkey...your brain is used to having an opiate to make it make you feel good. But when that receptor no longer gets an opiate (doesn't matter which kind) you will begin WD.

I'm withdrawing now... Not full blown but definitely withdrawals.. From what read.. Ppl who use dillys long-term have severe wds for about 24 hours.. Since I haven't had h n been using dillys short term I hope it's not too bad.. But yeah I get what ur saying about the brain being used to having been fed opiates all day past couple years.. I think I'm gonna just kick kick right now so that way. By the time I wake up tomorrow I'll be more than half way done I'm fixing to make a Little survival pack with Benson n high grade smoke

So yer planning on kicking an wonderin wich opiate to take last for less withdraw? Id say withdraw from the d's better. Assuming ya smoke yer dope an snort/pop the d's rite?

If yer shootin both up an you withdraw from shootin, its less harsh to withdraw from shootin dope than shootin the d's. But if you dont shoot than finish the d's an withdraw. An no the harsh withdraws will last way more than 24hrs.
