I've been on other sites before where there is a link to a list of threads in which I have posted, and there have since been more responses.

like for example, it would be called "Unread Posts on Your Threads."

Not that they are MY threads, but just threads in which I have posted, and now there are further posts....

I would imagine this would be especially useful on a drug site in which many people don't remember where they have been and what they have said....

If you go into your UserCP (on the bar at the top of every screen, right under the Bluelight banner), there is a bar on the left side of the screen with lots of options, scroll down to "edit options" then theres an option that says "subscribe to threads" I recommend the "no email notification" in the pull down menu, then when you want to find your threads again you can go back to UserCP and they will be listed there, or you can go back to the top bar and go to "quick links" ---> "subscribed threads"

so does this mean I need to manually type in the name of the threads that I post in, in order to have this function?

there is nothing that automatically tracks the threads I have posted in and organizes them for me to check back?

I dont know if it'll track threads you've posted in before that, but you only have 30 posts, so you most likely remember the majority of the threads you still have any interest in. If you want to manually subscribe to a thread, or just subscribe without posting, you can go to the top of the thread, on the top right there is an option that says "Thread tools" one of the options in there is "subscribe to this thread".

It won't subscribe you automatically retroactive, it only subscribes you to your 'posted in' threads going forward from when you turn it on. As fizzie indicated, you'd have to manually subscribe to other threads after the fact.

In related news, did you know you could click on any username to the left of their post and it gives a drop down with options such as view their profile, send them a private message, and "FIND MORE POSTS BY THIS USER"....you can even do it to your own name, if you need help finding those other threads you posted in and wish to manually subscribe to at a later date.
