I have a question about 2 particular pills that my friend is doing, I am concerned about what the effects are of what she is taking, She mixes a 40 MG OxyContin(Opiod) with 1 MG xanax(half a bar) (Benzo) and she seems to be really high and not know whats going on and i am concerned what the effects would be of this combo, Does these amounts really make her feel the way she does? Any comments would be helpful, Thank you.

These are both pretty powerful CNS depressants alone, and when combined are even more so. It's very dangerous to mix benzodiazepines and opiates, as they potentiate eachother and the depressant effects significantly.

And yes, if she doesn't have too much of a tolerance to either, she will definitely be as you described (high, out of it, etc.)

40mg oxycodone by itsself is will get most people drooling if they don't have a tolerance. The xanax with it potentiates the oxycodone quite a bit. It is a dangerous combination when used in excess, 1+1=3 in this case. Make sure she knows her tolerance and is well informed about the possible dangers. This combination can lead to respiratory failure leading to death when used in excess.

It depends on her tolerance. Clearly it sounds like hers is low, and the added CNS depression of a benzo to her already being tanked from the oxy, is making it even worse.

This is a dangerous combination and if your friend had any sense, she would stop before she OD's.

Send her my way ill will gladly take them off her;).

No really that's too much especially taken together.

I would advise your friend to visit the shrine on BL to see the tragic consequences of benzo and opiate combos.
